2016 Life Sciences Postdoc Mini-Symposium

The 2016 Life Sciences Postdoc Mini-Symposium was a huge success, with 35 participants representing 6 Colleges and 13 different Departments. Indeed, it was standing room only for the oral presentations with even more colleagues enjoying a nice Friday afternoon visiting the scientific posters. Elizabeth Buescher (Biochemistry, Brian Dilkes' lab) won first place in the oral competition. For the poster awards, third place went to Sandeep Ravala (Biological Sciences, Seema Mattoo's lab), second place to Jie "Jack" Li (Biochemistry, Xiaoqi Liu's lab) and first place to Dave Hess (Biological Sciences, Stephen Konieczny's lab). Congratulations to everyone who participated this year.
