Dr. Jeff Dukes recently organized a meeting in Beijing as part of the Integrated Network for Terrestrial Ecosysten Research on Feedbacks to the Atmosphere and ClimatE (INTERFACE) research coordination network. The INTERFACE workshop called "Using results from global change experiments to inform land model development and calibration" took place in Beijing, China, May 10-14, 2014. It started with a field trip to experimental sites in Inner Mongolia (including to the experiment discussed in the article below). Co-organizers were Shiqiang Wan (featured in the article) and Aimee Classen of the Natural History Museum of Denmark.
